When I got ready to retire I wanted to take up some hobbies and pastimes to enjoy my time away from work.  I have always been interested in photography, either looking at great photos or trying to take some good pictures.  As I got more involved in photography and taking some classes and workshops on the various aspects of making a good photo I became more and more interested in it.  After joining a few photography groups I have gotten even more involved and interested in photography.  One of the wonderful aspects of being retired and being involved in photography is I have met some great people and even traveled some to beautiful places.
