Venice (Venezia) is city unique among those of the world. Wandering Venice is a spiritual experience for me. It is unlike virtually any city you can visit. What is most obvious is the lack of traffic noise, no cars. A visit there might also afford you an opportunity to see and participate in acqua alta.
