Special announcement for existing members

  Members' images now on the ArtistPresentations Facebook page

We're pleased to announce that we are now presenting a selection of our members' images on our Facebook page. Just click this link to go to our Facebook page, then click the "Member Images" tab.

• 21 member images are selected and shown at random
• Each time you click the "Member Images" tab another selection of images will load.
• While you're there be sure to click the "Like" button just above the tabs.

Over the past three months we have been busy rebuilding ArtistPresentations.com on our internal development server. We're about to start rolling the changes out to the site this week.  To list all of the changes would take too much space but here are a few highlights.

• Totally new look and feel
• Profiles are out, new SMArt Pages^TM are in! (See below for additional info)
• Member images are now displayed on our Facebook Page, as noted above
• New Facebook App will let you display your images in a tab on your Facebook profile
• New online art presentations to promote and showcase your work
• Improved site navigation and help documentation
• Online webinars and screencasts to help you learn how to build an audience and promote your work online

   SMArt Pages^TM to replace standard profiles

 We've been looking at virtually all of the artist related social networks and discovered these sites share one thing in common... Social network profiles for artists are not doing the job that they should be. Too often, the focus is on the technical aspect of the profile rather than providing a great presentation of the art and artist. So we have redesigned our profiles to really showcase your work. We call them Social Media Art Pages, or SMArt Pages^TM for short. 

A partial list of features include:

• Looks and acts like your own multi-page web site
• The header is your name or title, not ours
• Your work is showcased on your front page in a slide show format
• Front page slide show is not Flash so it even works on iPad
• Select which images, audio, video or blog entries appear on the front page slide show. Yes, you can even mix and match the various content types to really customize what appears on your SMArt Page's front screen
• Your own blog is built right in
• Your own RSS feed is included
• Fully social network enabled
• Supports images, audio, podcasts and video
• Option to run your SMArt Page from your own domain name as a true web site
• All your content is Search Engine Optimized
• Built-in contact page, and lot's more

  Pardon our dust while we make all these changes

These changes and enhanced features will be coming online starting this week and will continue throughout the month of August. During this final stage of our beta period you may see a little bit of "dust" while the individual changes are rolled out. We will post status updates along the way to keep you informed of our progress. Updates will also be posted on our Facebook page.
