Today we drove over the highest mountain pass of the trip. It is 17,121 feet high, i was amazed i could breathe. We took a side trip off of the main road to Sakia Monastery, it looked like a medieval fortress. We spent a long time taking pictures here. Where we wpent the night is 223 feet lower than the top of Mt. Whitney.
